Jim, a 28-year veteran of the international cable industry, heads the company’s relations with its several external audiences including industry and media from a consulting position. He served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for UnitedGlobalCom of Denver, the parent company of UPC Europe, Amsterdam, the largest pan-European broadband communications company providing high speed Internet Access, cable telephony and video; VTR GlobalCom, the largest broadband communications provider in Chile; and Austar United Communications, a leading satellite, cable television and telecommunications provider in Australia and New Zealand. In addition, for 13 years Jim was Vice President of Corporate Communications for Jones Intercable, one of the largest MSOs in the U.S. until it was acquired by Comcast, where he was responsible for media, investor and government relations. He was inducted into the Cable Pioneers in 2008.
